Formula One presents new regulations and rules, racing into the 2026 season! The cars feature new components, like a new electrical component. But cars are not the only things changing. New teams have been introduced, such as Audi and Cadillac, and both are very notable car manufacturers. Audi was originally Kick Sauber in 2025, but Audi has replaced them. But the Cadillac team is a different ball game. They are a whole new team and offer a lot to the grid, featuring notable drivers like Valtteri Bottas, previously driving for teams like Mercedes and Alfa Romero, and Sergio Perez, previously driving for Red Bull with 2024 Championship winner, Max Verstappen. But with more drivers, teams, and nimble cars, comes with higher stakes and the latest predictions for the 2026 season. But with new cars also comes with a whole new schedule of tracks. Notable tracks like Sazuka, Abu Dhabi, and Silverstone are returning. Besides that the most exciting part of the new season are the new regulations and car changes. The cars will be more nimble and lighter, and feature smaller tires, with Pirelli continuing to sponsor the tires. The new and improved cars also have reduced downforce, making the cars even faster down straights. There has also been a change to DRS, removing it and changing the aerodynamics part of the car, which also improves overtaking. Formula One is also changing its engine. It includes a 50/50 power balance, meaning it can run an electrical power and motor power, thus making the engines even more powerful than before. The car also features a boost button, which is basically a new ERS button, used to overtake more advanced. These changes will take Formula One to the next level, with closer driving and more entertaining races than ever before! “I am very optimistic about them, the cars seem lighter and faster, and especially for tracks like Monaco,” Leon Davis exclaimed. Monaco is one of F1’s most popular tracks, including tight racing and making turns nearly impossible, even for the drivers. “To be honest, I know most people think the new regulations are going to be garbage, but I see potential in them,” Kavali said. But with new regulations, comes a whole new pool of viewers. With the 2025 season, the viewership record was broken, with an average viewership of 1.32 million viewers each race! Championships are also a thing to never forget. Last year in 2025, McLaren’s first driver, Lando Norris, won his fir

st World Drivers Championship, just edging out Max Verstappen and his teammate, Oscar Piastri. Lando beat Max Verstappen by only two points! With the new season starting in only 2 months, who knows what will occur this season. Will we see the biggest upsets, or will we see the richest achievements? Only five red lights will tell!
