May 16, 2026, Khalid and Lauv kicked off their It’s Always Summer Somewhere tour in Las Vegas, Nevada, at Planet Hollywood. The Tour will last until June 26, 2026 where it will wrap up in Berkeley, CA. Tickets went up for pre-sale back on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 with additional pre-sale tickets that ran through the week ahead, which started Friday, December 12, 2025 according to Live Nation Newsroom.

Considering the multiple artists that this generation listens to, many of them do not make Las Vegas a city in their tour. Hearing that Khalid and Luav were performing on the strip was exciting news to fans. Many students from Liberty had attended the first concert, including Sophomore, Charlie Pontillas. This was a memorable night for her and it was ¨really nice¨ to hear his 2018 songs. She even says ¨I was so excited to hear Khalid was coming because of his opener Lauv…I enjoy his music a lot and hearing his songs live too was such an amazing experience and it really brought me back to the past.¨
His old songs were the biggest hits of the night and made the crowd jump and scream with excitement. Many ¨nostalgic¨ tracks were performed throughout the concert that really brought the energy to the venue, making the night memorable for plenty. Some 2018 pieces included Better, Eastside, Location, Lovely, Love Lies, and Young Dumb & Broke. This didn’t make up the night though, Khalid and Lauv combined played over 40 songs, some even being covers. A Junior from Liberty who was present at the live event chose to stay anonymous, though they excitedly said, ¨I literally screamed when I heard the first note to I Like Me Better by Lauv!¨
To a Senior at Liberty, this wasn’t just a concert, this was a graduation gift. The end of the school year has come, and upcoming graduates have worked an incredible amount according to some teachers. Sarahi Reyes gifted herself concert tickets during pre-sale for her and friend to enjoy the opening night. She mentioned she really wanted to bring someone that she could have fun with, so she landed on one of her best friends. Reyes stated, ¨This concert gave me a chance to feel like a kid again since that’s when I first listened to him. It was nostalgic and Im graduating meaning im finally becoming an adult, I want to stay a kid forever.¨

¨He gate kept his own playlist! I was overly irritated when it was released after the first night.¨ – Sarahi Reyes
His setlist was slowly revealed through his instagram and small hints dropped before the opening show, yet never released every song. Once it was known after the Las Vegas show, it circulated around the internet giving a peek into what fans will get during upcoming dates for the tour.

As the months pass, Khalid will continue to perform and bring fans the love for his concerts along with Lauv.
