Recently, Las Vegas held a convention called “Complexcon” which is a 2 day event that has unique clothes of all sorts with hundreds of brands and 2 concerts. This convention was very anticipated as it took over social media and sold out both days rapidly.
Some of the artists that made an appearance this year were Ken Carson, Young Thug, 2hollis, Yeat, and even a surprise guest Che. A lot of new and upcoming vendors made an appearance at the convention but some of the known brands that had a booth there were Aelfric Eden, GV gallery, Nike, Vans, and even Flowar. With all this it had fans on the edge of their seats and overwhelmed by all the stuff going on around them, Liberty student Gavin King who is in 11th grade was asked about the overall experience at Complexcon and replied with “It was so awesome man, there was so much cool stuff but I cant lie I was overstimulated with everything going on and it felt as if life wasn’t real while I was there.” Gavin had a blast while he was at Complex, but noted that it was very overwhelming and how there was so much going on at once he couldn’t even keep track.
The music part of the convention is what attracted a majority of people that attended, 9th Grade Student Gavin Giblin wasn’t too fond of Young Thug and Central Cee, he really emphasized how much fun Ken Carson was and explained how if you love moshes and the chaos concerts can have, you would have loved Complexcon. “I personally only went to day 2 but some of my favorite artists that performed were Ken Carson and 2hollis, Central Cee and Young Thug were okay just not my style. Ken stood out to me because of the mosh they had going on and how the whole crowd was going crazy. I’m experienced with mosh pits and I can say they are really fun.”
The clothes they had at the convention brought a major variety for all the fashionistas that were there, even to the point some known public figures made an appearance such as Marlon, Miladweyy and even Popular streamer PlaqueBoyMax to check out all the unique pieces. Gavin King said he loved the collabs they had and specifically the booth GV Gallery had going on which gives him an opportunity to resell their product and flip it for more money. “I loved all the clothes they had there at the convention. I loved the Ken Carson Affliction collab and most importantly, the GV Gallery booth. I view them as a cheaper balenciaga so it was really awesome to buy from there so I can resell their products and get fly at the same time.”
It’s clear that Complexcon went beyond the expectations and satisfied majority of the fans here at Liberty Highschool
