Bruno Mars’s long-awaited return has finally come to light with the debut of his newest album, The Romantic, set to release on February 27th. This news has only been amplified by the recent release of his new song, “I Just Might,” one of many set to be released in the coming months. Fans, such as Liberty High School junior Ashton Domingo, suspect this album will be more of a solo project, emphasizing Mars’s own talents and showmanship. While some, such as sophomore Andrea Moreno, hope the album will consist of more romantic songs or follow a romantic storyline.

It has been reported that Bruno will be singing his most popular and fans’ favorite old songs from his albums. He is still actively picking which ones, but be ready to sing your heart out to them. Many think it will be songs like “Treasure”, “Locked Out of Heaven”, and more.
Along with debate over upcoming album choices, many fans have been reeling at the prices, “Oh my gosh, I can’t afford that, it’s kind of insane,” long-time fan, junior, Sofie Sternberg, exclaimed. Both Moreno and Domingo agreed with Sternberg’s hesitation to purchase a ticket, Domingo noting that he understands aspects of the pricing due to conflict over pre-selling and show production, but feels that, “I really don’t need to spend maybe $1,000 at least for one ticket.”
In light of upcoming concerts, conversation over Mars’s “no phone” policy has resurfaced. “I feel like he should let phones in, even though he thinks that it’s not good to not,” remarked Moreno. However, some fans disagree. Sternberg contrasted, stating, “I think it’s great because honestly, like, are you really going to look back at them for a year or six months like seeing them, oh this was such a great night? I’ve never really looked back at them; I just remember the memories. So without phones, it would be better.”

Despite the debate, the rumors are true; he will be allowing phones at his concert, and he is ready to put on his show. This could bring the experience to more fans and appease the ongoing disappointment felt by some. Make sure you don’t miss it, Patriots, because it is well anticipated and there’s more news to come! Bruno is ready to make the concert the best time of your life!
