Everyone has their own dreams faced with challenges and personal growth. For Justin Kaleiohi-Pedro, one of the most important qualities in life is independence. “I think my biggest strength is learning to figure something out by myself, I am very good at that.” Whether it’s solving a problem or picking up a new skill, Justin takes pride in his ability to learn on his own.
He does not avoid seeking help though. When it comes to academics, Justin has a unique approach: “If I need help with academic stuff, I’ll turn it into something social and start asking my friends.” Learning becomes easier when it’s shared, and he enjoys the process of collaborating with others to understand new concepts helping him to maintain his school and personal life.
While education is important, Justin also has big dreams. “One of my dreams is to become a tattoo artist.” Art and creativity are passions he hopes to turn into a career, using his talent to create meaningful and personal designs for others.
Beyond traits and dreams, Justin values honesty above all, “my best trait is honesty, it’s always best to be honest.” Being truthful with himself and others is something he lives by, believing that honesty strengthens relationships and builds trust.
Ultimately, his advice in life is simple but powerful: “Pay attention to yourself, like, don’t mind other people.” He focuses on his own path, staying true to who he is and not worrying about outside opinions.
