Since the start of the NBA season , there has been a lot of talk on where 2 time MVP Superstar Giannis Antetekounpo is heading in the off season. Many people believe he is requesting a trade due to the decline in the Milwaukee Bucks Performance the past couple of seasons, and how all of his teammates from the year they won the championship are now no longer on the team.
According to ESPN and CBS Sports Giannis seems to be fed up as people suspect he is wasting his prime years on a team that is going nowhere and that he would be much better off on a team that has a chance of winning something, instead of clinging on to loyalty. Liberty Student in 10th Grade Jalen was asked if he believes Giannis is wasting his prime years on the Bucks and said how he is and there’s no shame in leaving a team that holds you back he already won them a championship. Jalen strongly believes Giannis has done more than enough for the Bucks and how him being loyal is pointless and holds him and his legacy back
“Giannis has no business being on the Bucks any longer, he’s already done so much for them and they can’t even get him a competing team anymore, it’s time for him to hang it up and request a trade”.
Students at Liberty High School agree with this as they have many speculations on where Giannis could potentially land in the 26-27 NBA season. Junior Student Kavali Parker was asked if where he sees Giannis heading off too and he replied with “I can’t lie there’s a lot of spots he could go to but personally i want him to go to the golden state warriors due to it being a good fit with Stephen Curry since they have no center and also because I’m a warriors fan.” Kavali sees many outcomes occurring with Giannis wanting a trade but strongly feels he should go to the warriors due to it being a good fit with the team since the Warriors lack a good defensive big man like him, but also due to him being a fan of Golden State he’s a little biased towards him landing there.
Other students at Liberty believe he is going somewhere else; some may even say these destinations are controversial and crazy. Many people speculate the most likely trades would be the Warriors, the Knicks, the Spurs, and even the Lakers, but some speculate something even more bizarre. Junior Student Chris strongly believes he will head to the Charlotte Hornets with Lamelo Ball. “I think Giannis would be a good fit with the Hornets with Lamelo Ball on his side and he could carry us to our first championship.” Chris is going all in by saying he believes the Hornets will trade for Giannis so he can help them get out of poverty and make them a competing team.
Overall it is very clear Liberty believes Giannis is leaving Milwaukee to chase a championship and strengthen his legacy and he has a lot of options to choose from doing so.
