Flag Flag Football season starting
Flag football season is finally starting, and it’s time to lace up, put on your gloves, and hit the field! Liberty High School has just finished their tryouts, and the girls are ready to show their skills and passion for the game. With a mix of new talent and experienced players, this season is shaping up to be an exciting one.
Last year, some incredibly talented players graduated, leaving key spots open for younger athletes to step in. This season, those new players are eager to rise to the challenge and make their mark. Liberty High School has always been home to skilled athletes, but the presence of strong, dedicated captains helps ensure that the team remains organized, focused, and motivated.
Senior Captain Arianna Scroggins shared her feelings about the upcoming season, saying she is “very excited and ready to dominate.” As a leader, Arianna is thrilled to guide the younger players and share her knowledge of the game. She also admits that while she is excited, she feels a touch of sadness knowing this will be her final season playing for Liberty. Many of the freshmen joining the team have expressed mixed emotions as well. They are “excited but very nervous” about playing their first official game, and they hope to “show out and not make any mistakes.”
