The New Spooktacular Club!

Horror by Mr. Depew
A spooktacular new club has recently joined Liberty High School! Do you enjoy horror? Possibly even writing it? Well you can write any horror stories of any kind in the Horror Writing Club!  The club meets every Wednesday after school until 2:00 p.m. in room 832.

Mr. Depew, who is the ambassador of the Horror Writers club, had the idea of making the club because he wrote and published short horror stories before. His experience teaching English class has also shown him that many students like to write stories, specifically horror. This made him think that making an actual horror writing club would be an excellent idea. Joining this club will allow students to have their skills heightened along with their confidence in their writing. This club explores literature and the horror genre to the max. During some meets they take the time to watch a short film or sometimes have a full writing day.

By hanging up posters around the school, Mr. Depew had spread the word about the new club. During the first meet many students had come, three of those students were selected to be club officers.

The 2023-24 officers are:

President: Sarah Sprole (11th)

Vice President: Kennedy Barela (12th)

Secretary: Emyr Duffin (12th).

More positions will be added if necessary. No social media information about this club exists, so go to a meeting to see their spooky vibes!
