Takis vs. Hot Cheetos is a hot argument all over the internet and among Liberty High students. Some say that Hot Cheetos are better, while others argue that Takis are better.
The two opinions in this debate are mixed. But one thing people can agree on is that they are both very unhealthy. Anonymous Liberty Patriot explains, “The only real downside of the two is that they are very unhealthy.” Health can be a big deciding factor in what people eat.
Some people think that Takis are spicier and have more flavor than Hot Cheetos, which makes them better. One Liberty Freshman, Lexa, highlighted their appreciation for the snack by saying, “Takis have way more flavor than Hot Cheetos and are really spicy. Sometimes they are too spicy for me though.”
The argument continues with Takis tasting better. A Liberty Freshman, who preferred to stay anonymous, explained that “Takis have better flavor because the lemon-lime flavoring is more there or bold.” The Freshman promptly backed up the belief that Takis lovers think that there is more flavor. However for people with braces or retainers, Hot Cheetos are preferred far more than Takis. Liberty Freshman Evan says that, “Takis (for me) is really hard to bite down on. Hot Cheetos are easier to bite down on and to chew.” Other people with braces will most likely agree with Evans’ sentence. Even dentists have recommended Hot Cheetos instead of Takis for those with braces.
