For this issue’s Teacher Spotlight, all eyes are on Ms. Taylor! Many students know Ms. Taylor through  the club known as DECA . DECA is a club that appertains marketing, entrepreneurship, and more. Ms. Taylor decided to become a teacher to take the passion that she had for her industry and  get others involved with it. She has been involved with DECA here at Liberty High School for about a quarter now.

Before Ms. Taylor started teaching at Liberty, she was in hospitality , with some marketing. Meaning that she had worked with hotels, restaurants, and more.  When she was asked what her biggest accomplishment was as a teacher, Ms. Taylor responded by saying, “Honestly, becoming a teacher, it was a very big change. So, it makes me happy because I want other people to know that taking a big risk will pay off.” If Ms. Taylor had stayed in her profession with hotels and restaurants, she claims  her dream hotel would probably have to be ResortsWorld!

Ms. Taylor was born in a small town in Michigan just outside of Detroit known as Ann Arbor. She has a dog named Luna, who is a Jack Russell and Australian Shepherd mix. She mentioned that her childhood was somewhat bumpy, but also pretty decent. When she was asked to describe herself with three adjectives she responded with. ,

“ First one is PASSIONATE.  I like to think I’m KINDHEARTED and just happy to be doing what I’m doing” -Ms. Taylor
