Durk Devontay Banks better known as “Lil Durk”  a well known rapper, was charged with murder for hire. Causing lots of media gossip and drama. Lil Durk has been arrested in Florida on federal charges that he paid for the attempted 2022 revenge killing of rapper T.B at a Los Angeles gas station. Lil Durk is accused of being the leader of Chicago-based rap collective called Only The Family (OTF), according to a federal criminal complaint filed in the U.S. District

Shearer thinks Lil Durk should be arrested because he ordered someone to kill somebody. He doesn’t listen to his music but if he did start he wouldn’t only because of that. He believes Lil Durk should stay for 15 years in prison. He doesn’t think he’ll lose a lot of money. He believes that his music is bad for kids.

We interviewed people to get their opinion on this case and this is what they had to say.  Freshman student Shearer believes that Lil Durk should have been arrested because he ordered someone to kill another person, he also states that Lil Durk music is bad for the younger crowd. Freshman student Nathan believes that Lil Durk deserves to go to jail and he could maybe get 15 years in jail.

Nathan was saying that Lil Durk deserved to be arrested because he was a thug and what he did. He also doesn’t believe that he should be released if he ever does. The question was why he thinks his friend told on him, and Nathan said, “Cause he was probably getting threatened too”.

Lil durk is an influential music artist and his actions of mu for hire  are being spreaded across the world Sophomore student Raymond thinks he should be arrested for murder Raymond thinks he would get 25 years in prison. He thinks his friend told on him was because he’s honest. Raymond thinks Lil Durk music is not good for little kids because of the curse words.

Lil Durk put out a bounty on another rapper “T.B” as retaliation for the murder of the rapper King Von, Also a member of  Only The Family (OTF), The news of his arrest came out weeks before his new album”Deep Thoughts” that was scheduled to be released on November 22, 2024.

Freshman student Justin disagrees that Lil Durk should be arrested. He would still listen to Lil Durk’s music. Justin thinks he will get alot money later on.
