News of many things Mr. Beast has been doing both in the past and recently has begun circulating around on the internet. News of alleged abuse of his workers on his new upcoming show “Beast Games”, a show that is supposedly similar to the hit show “Squid Games” that was filmed in the Allegiance Stadium, A past controversy with one of his past employees and friend, Kris (Ava) Tyson, and his most recent collab that struck up some controversy, Lunchly (see article Lunchly: An unexpected collab, on Liberty Central News for more information).
In regards to “Beast Games” there have been many things that have been causing controversy but the main issue is the alleged neglect and abuse that the workers on set have been facing. The allegations include not providing medication for those with health issues, many individuals who were hospitalized, were not given proper meals with enough nutrition, had to do extreme labor while on set, and much more. Many injuries have been reported to have occurred in the early stages of the first challenge. The first challenge was in which contestants were tied to a huge rock and were meant to work with their teammates to drag that rock to a finish line a certain distance away. A few teams began tripping and getting tangled in the rope. Many contestants on ¨Beast Games¨ had to be transported to the hospital. These hospital trips also have something to do with medical care. Due to too many contestants, Beast´s team struggled to provide proper medical care for his contestants. According to the New York Times, a contestant reported that they handed her a fake 1,000 bill for the video, which she had to give back, and was promised to receive real payment, which she never did. She ended up walking away moneyless and ¨bruised and bleeding”. Many people feel as if he has gone too far and needs to start taking care of his team and contestants better. 10th grader Avery Bisarra believes that he should be canceled since “He hurt innocent people who appeared on the show who just went on the show for money and fame but instead got hurt physically and mentally.” Devon Barney had a similar opinion. He believes that
“He is not being a good employer and needs to start taking better care of people.”

Another controversy involving Mr. Beast was allegations of him being involved with an alleged pedophile. Ava Kris Tyson, an old friend of Mr Beast who previously was a part of his crew, was allegedly sending inappropriate messages to a 13-year-old. According to BBC News, Mr Beast came out and said that he was “disgusted by the serious allegations” of Tyson’s behavior. BBC also specifies that Beast hired Quinn Emanuel Urquhart and Sullivan LLP law firm to investigate the allegations. The law firm then claimed that the case was baseless and that the alleged victim claimed that claims of Tyson’s behavior were completely false. There were mixed feelings about this outcome. Some believe that these allegations were true and some do not. Zara Manongdo believes that “It is disgusting that he continues to have a platform and continues to operate.” She also believes that his cancellation, due to him being such a big creator, does not have “nearly as big an impact on him than it has on other creators.”
