Americans have been split about the announcement of the tariffs, one side of them concerned for their jobs and how this will affect their respected business. The other side of the argument states that it’ll strengthen the economy and how these tariffs will get back at other countries for their taxes on the US. Where people get these sources is unknown though comments are found on socials when searching for Trump’s tariffs.
Now comparing the before and after of Trump’s reciprocal tariffs, according to the tax foundation, it’s reported on their site how Trump’s tariffs will impact ‘US’ economically.
Since the tariffs, the USA’s stock market has crashed along with the union of South Korea, Japan, and China going against Trump. It’s stated that many other countries including the European Union have gone against his tariffs causing quite the outrage for the economic war. Many prices have of course gone up, especially hitting hard in the USA. Seemingly as Trump’s tariffs did the opposite of its initial purpose.
Of course, things are bound to change as more news comes out. These are straight facts of all that has happened so far between Liberation day and now. US’ economic war with the other countries is an interesting piece of history, hopefully it ends on a good note between the nations involved with these taxes and the people especially.
