After the long wait between Invincible Seasons 1 and 2, fans were relieved when Season 3 arrived much sooner. But did it actually live up to expectations?
For Michael, just getting new episodes faster was a win. “I’m just happy we didn’t wait three years again.” Carter wasn’t so convinced. “Just because it’s fast doesn’t mean it’s great.” Kiari also agreed: “Excitement alone won’t save the season if it doesn’t hit the same way.”
Prime Video dropped the first three episodes at once, a move that divided fans. Kiari thought it made waiting worse. “Now it feels longer between episodes.” Carter believed weekly releases would’ve kept the hype going. Michael, however, thought the fast start was necessary. “If they only dropped one, people would’ve said it was too slow.”
A big concern is whether eight episodes are enough to tell a complete story. Carter was sure of one thing: “We’re totally getting a cliffhanger.” Michael added, “They have a lot to cover, so they better not waste time on filler.”
Another major question—can Mark actually take on the Viltrumites? Carter was blunt. “Not yet. He got wrecked last season.” Kiari was more hopeful. “He’s getting smarter, though. He might actually stand a chance.”
Even with Mark at the center, many fans still think Omni-Man is the show’s strongest character. “Easily,” Carter said. “He’s the best character.” Kiari liked the shift in focus. “It’s Mark’s story, and he deserves that spotlight.” Michael agreed but admitted, “Omni-Man is just that good. It’s hard to top him.”
With a few episodes left, the season still has time to prove itself. But for some fans, it’s clear what must go right. “The fights,” Michael said. “If they’re weak, I’m out.” Carter wanted real growth for Mark. “Not just new powers.” And Kiari had one demand: “No dumb cliffhanger. Seriously.”
As the season nears its end, the question remains—will Invincible stick the landing or leave fans frustrated once again?
