CJ Stroud is entering his second season as a starting QB in the NFL for the Houston Texans. Stroud was drafted second in last year’s draft and had an incredible season, finishing as the offensive rookie of the year and lead the Texans to a 10-7 record which was good enough to make the playoffs. Stroud won his first playoff game against the Browns 45-14 an absolute blowout.

Stroud kicked his sophomore season off with two solid wins against the Indianapolis Colts and the Chicago Bears. Then took a tough loss to the Minnesota Vikings. However he bounced back most recently against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

I asked some students at Liberty High School what their thoughts were on CJ Stroud. One student said that “I believe that he is going to be their franchise QB for the long run.” Another student said that “ I think CJ is already a top 5 QB in the league.”
