On Sunday September 15, 2024 the Las Vegas Raiders took on the heavily betted on Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore. With the Ravens being 8.5 point favorites, the analytics didn’t like the Raiders in this one.

Gardner Minshew with 30/38 completions, 276 yards, a touchdown, with one interception, these stats wouldn’t be possible without DaVante Adams 12.2 AVG yards on 9 catches.Rookie Brock Bowers showing out as well with 9 receptions and 98 yards.

RAVENS
Lamar Jackson with 21/34 completions, 247 yards, a touchdown, with one interception. Zay Flowers had a strong game with 7 catches for 91 yards. Along with Derrick Henry’s monstrous 18 touches. On the defensive side of the ball, Marlon Humphry had a great night with 8/2-tck/ast, along with an interception.
It’s hard to say where it went wrong, whether it be Lamar’s 13 incompletes or could have Justin Tucker made an extra field goal? Or could have it been luck?
Next week the Raiders will take on the Panthers at home. The Panthers being one of the worst teams in recent NFL history, to be seen if the Raiders can capitalize and go 2-1.
