It has been announced that the wrestling season for Liberty highschool will start on November, 16 2024. Coach Gaitanosis will be hosting the tryouts for the team on 11/16/24. Wrestling is for fans that want to use their physical and mental strength to try and win their matches. If you want to have fun, train, and make friends you should join the Liberty wrestling team.

This news is giving joy to the new freshmen that want to join the team, and the old members that are returning for more action. Willam Timmons, a Liberty highschool junior who is returning to the wrestling team was asked why wrestling is a good sport to join. He said that “ Joining the wrestling team was one of the best choices I made in my life because it gave me a reason to keep my body in shape and it gave me friends that have lasted me since freshman year to even now.”

While the wrestling team last year was good, the wrestling team is always looking for new talent. The wrestling team is looking for new people to inspire and hopefully give the students of Liberty a nice sports team to support and watch. Cody Plott , another Liberty junior who is returning to the team, was asked how the environment and how the team inspires one another? He had this to say, “The wrestling team is a great group of people, the coaches and my fellow teammates are always encouraging me and I always encourage them.”
