The club meets on Mondays after school if you are interested in joining this outstanding club. This club is overlooked for the good they do. I encourage as many people to join as possible. The club hopes to go help in person at shelters if possible. If you have any questions you can email ms.Dyvig from the clubs and activities page on the liberty high school website.
I asked Deesha Dyvig the Advisor of the club Paws For Change some questions about this club.
Q: What does the club do?
A: Donate funds to animal shelters and research centers that specialize in helping animals.
For example last year they donated to the research of cancer in animals.
Q: How did you acquire the funds to donate
A: Fundraisers: Trunk or treats, miracle minute, and we sell things such as stickers
Q: How many people attend the club
A: Usually anywhere between 25 and 35 people
Q: Would you add this to your college application
A: Yes, you can add it to your college application and I would even add it to a resume
Q: Do you have anything specific to tell the school
A: Adopt don’t shop and spay and neuter your pets
