Student council is a large part of Liberty’s community. After some questions, we gained a little more insight on what it is they actually do for the school. Student council is about every class working together to make school an enjoyable place. Some examples being dances, spirit weeks, and Fun Fridays. Student council works hard to make things that people appreciate, like making assemblies more fun. People in student council are dedicated to making a better school environment for the students. Everyone in student council meet their 5th period while class committee meets every Tuesday after school. On average there is about 60 students in student council. The advisor is Mrs. Vaness. As for fundraisers, student council sells Panda Express every Thursday, Wetzel’s Pretzels on Mondays, and Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt on Fridays.
