Interested in joining a club? Why not check out key club! Key club is a leadership club which helps around by doing volunteer and service. We volunteer anywhere we can, even pumpkin patches and local events.
Key club is ran by their president Alyssa Amodia, and the Key club officers. The other Key club officers are Kenneth Domingo(vice president), Marcus Emeses (vice president), Sarah Lopez (secretary), Lilia Manandhar (treasurer), Ellie Bertling (historian), Sean Soriano (webmaster), and Alaena Rose Sanagustin (class rep).
Alyssa and her officers help key club run smoothly and be a club where anyone can express themselves and have fun. They make the club interactive to everyone and have things such as ice breakers, cheers, and happy sad change.
Happy sad change is where members donate money and tell something that made them either happy or sad. A member of key club, Jacqueline Mae Dizo who goes by Jackie, stated that she feels as though she has really built a connection to keyclub. Jackie was one of the many people who were elected for being on the spirit board. Spirit board is a group of members, selected by the board of themselves, of people who put their all into key club. Whether it be showing spirit or helping out with the club.
Jackie exclaims that key club has helped her build social skills and make valuable friends. She thinks everyone should join key club because it’s a great opportunity to build social skills and meet new people and because of the Regional Training Conference (RTC).
RTC is where you go and show off your school spirit and battle against other schools for 12 hours. Those who participate in RTC can go to 6 flags!
Come join us! We meet every Thursday either in the lecture hall or in room 225 until 2:30pm.
