With the Holiday season just around the corner, comes new video game releases to top off the end of the year. Upcoming games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Overwatch 2 and New Tales from the Borderlands are all extremely anticipated. More importantly, God of War: Ragnarok is coming back after four years. GoW: Ragnarok is expected to be released November 9th of 2022. The God of War franchise became very popular when the first era of the game was released on March 22, 2005 on the Playstation 2.
An update to the PlayStation Store during the summer this year has given fans some of the best looks yet at the game’s plot. “Fimbulwinter is well underway,” the description explains. “Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world…Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters.” Not exciting enough? Three trailers have been released (the most recent one being two weeks ago) aswell as pre-gameplay videos being presented everywhere. If anyone is new to the GoW concession, there’s always room for fans of Norse and Greek mythology, awesome visuals, and intricate, action-packed storylines.
