Spiderman: Across the Spider Verse came out on June 2nd of 2023. The movie had a smashing start making 689.8 million dollars compared to its 100 million dollar budget. The Sci/fi Action movie is a sequel that contains three continuation of a movie. Londyn Bennett says “I actually really liked it but I did not like the ending; the cliffhanger”. The movie ending in a cliffhanger sets the tone for the new movie Spiderman: Beyond the Spider Verse. Gabby Avitia says “I was kind of disappointed but I understand because of all the stuff going on”.

The newest movie was set to come out in 2024 but due to the writers strike in Hollywood, it is said by a student in LHS, that it will most likely come out in 2025. The newest movie is getting a lot of buzz and people are really excited about it but growing ever so impatient about its release. The movie had amazing art and a great storyline according to Gabby Avitia. Even Mr. Lentsch stated that he liked the ideas and the fact that there was more to learn even through the movie ended.
