Mr. Bellow is the reason Liberty is the way it is. With the policies for grades and attendance created by Mr. Bellow, Liberty is a very successful school.

Starting off the 2023-2024 school year to a great start and hope for many successful years to come, he has a great connection with academic students and even tries to push those who don’t give him a chance to help. He makes sure that the athletes are student athletes and not athlete students. But beyond the students, he treats his staff as if they were family and not workers. He loves his job in a way where he doesn’t feel like it’s going to work, it’s just excitement for another day at school.

Mr. Bellow is a beloved Principal by many. Including the students, athletes, and staff because of the respect they all have for him. When asked if he enjoys being the principal of Liberty High School, he stated, “Very much so, it’s the best principal job, the best school in CCSD. Anybody who has this job is very lucky and very blessed for sure.”

Mr. Bellow is not just your average high school principal, he cares deeply about the staff and students. He stays current with personal achievements, including the discovery of having some of the best soccer players in the country, as well as one of the best female pole vaulters on the west coast! When it comes to his staff and faculty, he ensures to uplift and appreciate all of the work that they do. According to Mr. Bellow, we have such a diverse set of staff, with different personalities here at Liberty. This alone, makes it a lot of fun to be at school everyday for him.

Even though Liberty High School is recognized for their many accomplishments in athletics, the school also prides itself in the academic realm. Bellow stated, “The things that our kids are doing in both AP and dual enrollment classes, I’d put them up against other schools and dual enrollment programs.”

Overall, this principal provides such an open and welcoming environment for the individuals that work in and visit the building.
