Liberty High School news about new phone pouches coming soon. Teachers of Liberty High school complain about students being on their phone too much, will the phone pockets fix this issue?
Why are these phone pouches being addressed to be used at Liberty? Teachers believe students should not be allowed their phone during class. Is this rule reasonable? Many students of Liberty had negative opinions on these phone pouches.
We Interviewed some students to get their opinion on this matter. “Are you excited for this new policy?” Giovanna Gomez, 9th grade, said, “No because I might need my phone in case of an emergency whether it’s a girl emergency, mental, or physical.”

Emergencies are a very big problem with phones at school considering how important yet distracting they are. “If anything, we don’t have a big problems with phones here at Liberty. We are free to use them and I feel like as long as we get our work done it shouldn’t be a big deal.”
When asked if they were happy about the phone pockets and if they think they’re necessary, all students said the same answer.
Teachers described the pouches as pockets that completely isolate your device. They completely cut out the service. Certain teachers believe it will be good but others also agree it is not necessary.
