Ever since 1948 the countries of Palestine and Israel have been in conflict. Some people have taken sides however, people have been shaken by the news of Starbucks being in support of Israel. In resentment people have started boycotting Starbucks.

In case some are unaware, Starbucks is a chain company which mainly sells coffee and pastries. Over the past couple of weeks Starbucks have made it very clear that they are in support of Israel. An interview conducted at Liberty High School a student named Vella said, “I think it’s necessary but idk if it really helps especially when you’re tryna boycott Starbucks.” The boycotting of Starbucks is not an international event; it is held in a variety of cities however, it is not making a large impact on the chain company.

Starbucks may be a worldwide company but by the support of others people can make a stance of what they think is right or what is wrong. People believe that Starbucks is in the wrong for supporting Israel in their war against Palenstine.
