PickleBall is in season here at Liberty High School! The PickleBall club is relatively new to Liberty.
Ms. Sweeney, the teacher advisor of PickleBall club, shares that they practice and meet together every Thursday and plan to enter a tournament soon. PickleBall is a sport played for ages. Ms. Sweeney and the club claimed that the sport is an exciting physical activity. The PickleBall club continues to bring students here at Liberty together.
The co-captain of the PickleBall club. In fact, the way the co-captain Christian Quills came to the club was thanks to the captain of the club, Matthew Guerrero, “Matthew asked me to play with my dad so we just all got together and played Ball”.
Ms. Sweeney recalled a story of when she was in high school and their team would participate in PickleBall tournaments, they would raise money for Liberty High School, she loved the fun meets and loved the social aspect of the sport.
The PickleBall club plans to regularly play at Sunset Park, where they also hope to participate in the tournaments!
