The PickleBall Patriots

PickleBall is in season here at Liberty High School! The PickleBall club is relatively new to Liberty.

Ms. Sweeney, the teacher advisor of PickleBall club, shares that they practice and meet together every Thursday and plan to enter a tournament soon. PickleBall is a sport played for ages. Ms. Sweeney and the club claimed that the sport is an exciting physical activity. The PickleBall club continues to bring students here at Liberty together.

The co-captain of the PickleBall club. In fact, the way the co-captain Christian Quills came to the club was thanks to the captain of the club, Matthew Guerrero, “Matthew asked me to play with my dad so we just all got together and played Ball”.

Ms. Sweeney recalled a story of when she was in high school and their team would participate in PickleBall tournaments, they would raise money for Liberty High School, she loved the fun meets and loved the social aspect of the sport.

The PickleBall club plans to regularly play at Sunset Park, where they also hope to participate in the tournaments!

Im turning 18 this November, I love Bruno Mars and really want to go to one of his concerts. I play Football and am on the Liberty Varsity Football team. I love things like Cars, Star Wars, and other cool things. I joined Journalism in my Junior year and loved it so much that I came back for another year in my Senior year.

I play football at Liberty High School, things I like to do in my free time is draw, play outside, and just have deep talks with my siblings. things I most likely is to hangout by myself and listen to music. This will be my second year in journalism.
