Halo B
The beginning of the game
Football season is where everybody comes together to support the team and have fun. Lots of people were looking forward to the game since it was big.
Students, players, coaches, staff members and parents were very excited and looking forward to the game. Many people had their own thoughts on how they thought the game would play out, and lots of opinions. The excitement and joyfulness was very supporting to the school and the team.
Before the game started many people got interviewed just to see everybody’s thoughts. Many of course had different opinions but that’s the good part to see everybody’s good opinions of the big game.

Coach Dickson was asked about his top players and who he felt like was gonna win. He said,” My top players are Selby (QB), Carter, Kellian and Eazy, but Liberty is gonna win. Santoro Hill, a JV player on the Liberty football team was asked how he thought the team would do and who he thought was a good player. He said,” I think they would do good because DP isn’t the best team and I feel like all the players are good on the team.
Mr Bellow also got interviewed but at the game. He was asked how he thought the game was going so far and how the team would do towards the end of the game. He said, I don’t think it’s going really well because we’re only up by one desert pines is driving and maybe some of the players are distracted by your eyelashes.” Mr Bellow is a funny guy and likes to make friendly jokes. He also said,” were gonna win this game, mark my word Coach Morocco is gonna get them in there in half time, show them what they’re doing wrong, make some adjustments and come out in the second half and we’re gonna smoke these guys.”
The first half of the game was competitive; Liberty led 7-6 at halftime. In the second half Liberty pulled away, scoring 15 unanswered points in the second half. The game’s momentum shifted after halftime, with Liberty’s defense tightening up and the offense making enough plays to secure the win, 22-6. Ezra Saneliv, strong on the ground, helping spark the offense with key runs while the defensive unit held Desert Pines to only 6 points total. This win is meaningful because it boots their momentum going forward, 3 wins in 4 games.
