Here at Liberty High School the club started in 2018 named ¨Ace” represents student passion for Dance genres and creativity. Everyone is welcome to join and be a part of the Dance crew they have created for our school. Students don’t need to meet any requirements or have any Dance experience to join; there are no fees required. The club meets every Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 in Mr. Hwang’s room (914) located on the second floor of the building.
Jay Verona, a Senior here at Liberty High, is the president of Ace and has been a part of the club since his Freshman year. Verona is very passionate about expanding the club and Dance itself which drives him to be inspirational to and for others around him. ¨My goal for this year is to make an impact, so that it’s bigger when I leave.” Verona stated during an interview. The crew together agreed that over the years Ace has significantly grown in students and the impact on styles of Dance. Instead of focusing on the more fancy or contemporary kind of Dance, they learn and teach Hip Hop and K-Pop.

Pep Rallies at Liberty often include a Dance that the club puts together as a group, and is performed at both first and second lunch. This upcoming Pep Rally for Homecoming they will be out in the quad as one of the events. Currently as well, they are trying to expand the performances into more than twice a year.
