There were a lot of different ideas on what the homecoming theme might be. For example, Tydis Hayds said, “sneaker ball.” Although, this year’s theme is Liberty Wrapped, which overall means a music theme.
Tickets for the dance can be bought in the quad during lunch through September 30 to October 17. Ticket prices increase each week as the dance approaches. The week of September 30th to October 3rd tickets are $50 cash, $55 card which is only for Liberty students. October 7th to October 10 tickets are $60 cash, $65 card and you can have 1 guest ticket per Liberty student. October 14 to October 17 tickets are $70 cash, $75 card until sold out. To bring a guest students will need to get a guest pass from the discipline office. Tickets can be picked up at the front of the office. On the day of the homecoming dance you will need your ticket, a guest pass if you are bringing someone who is not a Liberty student, and your student ID.
As the dance comes up, there are many homecoming proposals happening. People are coming up with a bunch of creative ways to ask someone to homecoming. Although, some people like to be more simple like student Nick Lagasca. He said, “I’m gonna buy flowers and match.”
Overall, Excitement about homecoming is mutual among lots of students. When asked why he was excited, Zion Erwing said, “it’s gonna be fun to hang out with our friends.” Others are excited because it’s going to be their first time going to homecoming. So, buy your tickets soon to experience the excitement of homecoming for the first time or once again.
