As the earth spins its axis getting closer and closer to fall, the world prepares for its yearly transition from the hot sunny weather to the cool breezy days of autumn. Not only does Autumn mean shorter days and cooler weather but it also calls for the upcoming fall trends here at Liberty High School.
With the temperatures dropping, and the air getting colder by the day, it’s expected that students will be wearing warmer clothes for this chilly season. Angelo Wu, a sophomore, is one of the many students who’ll be wearing warm clothes. He explained jackets and hats are good for the fall season for styling purposes and to protect himself from the weather. Not only are our students at Liberty High wearing jackets but as well as sweaters. Amelia Shoen, another sophomore, stated that she enjoys wearing oversized sweaters as they’re comfy and perfect to stay warm in the mornings.
While fall is great for new fashion trends, it definitely doesn’t mean that’s all we can look forward to this year. The changing leaves from green to orange act as a sign we are upon our many holidays. As we all know, Halloween, the day of spooky celebrations, is the first major holiday right on our front door step. Kloe Adams, a sophomore at Liberty, described her plans this holiday to be attending the pumpkin patches, and festivals as well as watching her favorite Halloween movies. Kloe has also quoted “I can’t wait to dress up with my friends!” meaning the costumes she’ll be wearing with peers for trick or treating. This spooky fall holiday concludes that there’ll be many activities such as the festivals and trick or treating opening many more opportunities to hangout with friends and family.
Speaking of family, Thanksgiving is another amazing way to celebrate and spend time with family. Relatives from around the world will be gathered in one place where we all share one big feast and spend time talking to our beloved ones. Alexis Baynes, one of our Juniors here at Liberty, shared she’s mostly looking forward to the Thanksgiving food. Unlike the pumpkin patches, students can also participate in many of this fall’s sports. Alexis added that she’ll be playing tennis which is perfect as the temperatures will be much cooler and less hot for an outdoor sport.
As long as the earth keeps spinning we can all look forward to the wardrobe changes, the transition of leaves, the chilly air, and the spooky fun celebrations fall has to offer.
