Everyone may possibly think that Great White Sharks are the kings of the ocean, but what if I told you that there is a chance that those sharks could possibly become extinct. Yeah, one of nature’s biggest predators could become obsolete and it would all be because of humans.
Humans are at fault because of multiple reasons but some of the main reasons are because of overfishing, killing for sport, and then being trapped in fishing nets. These creatures are dying because humans don’t understand that the ocean isn’t their home and that we can’t just do whatever we want with it.
There has been groups of people who have killed a shark because a shark ended up either eating a body part or killing someone. Personally, I think that if someone goes into the ocean and gets bit by a shark, it’s that person’s fault for intruding that Shark’s home.
For example, if someone broke into your house, you would protect yourself, now how can you go and kill a shark for that exact reason. It’s foolish and ignorant to think like that. Be cautious of what you are doing when you go into the ocean and especially if that ocean is known for having sharks.
Another thing is people killing for sport. People who kill for sport are some of the most inhumane people. Unless you are killing an animal to survive and going to use almost all parts of the animal, then you do you, but if you are going to just go and kill, then stay out of it. A popular dish is shark fin soup. I’m pretty sure you can get the jist of what is needed to make the soup.
There’s no need to kill sharks. They are doing what sharks do. Killing them based off one of them killing a loved one while that loved one was in the sharks home, is just ignorant.
